The Gornergorge in Zermatt

The "Gornergorge" is one of the most fascinating natural beauties of Zermatt. It lies around 20 walking minutes from the southern end of the village and is easily accessible. The gorge was formed by the river "Gornera" during thousands of years and is marked by bizarre formations and spectacular waterfalls. A secured path with galeries and woodbridges leads through the gorge. It takes 15 minutes to walk. If you feel like, the stroll can be continued via Blatte of Moos.
The "Gornergorge" is open daily between beginning of June and mid October – an impressive natural sight not to be missed!

Entry fee: adults CHF 4.50, groups of 10 or more people CHF 4.-, children CHF 2.50
